A Poem for Just One Person

If just one person:

Can distort our world

Create doubt in the existence of order

Diminish the value of all other achievements

Foster actions that stain our souls

Aggressively encroach on our peace of mind

Drain our capacity for the everyday…

Would it not be so, then

That just one person

Can be everything we need?
