If I Was Nature…
Wholesome Geopolitical Conspiracy Sunrise Rant #2: Greenbushes Pool
Those in the geopolitical conspiracy business love predictions. I also love predictions, although usually wrong ones (so far; stay tuned), so perhaps it is time for a different approach.
Rather than predict based on social trends, or astrology, or mathematical modelling, or spicy three-letter-agency intel, what if we put ourselves in the shoes of Nature?
If I was (were?) Nature, and I had granted humanity the unique gift of free will, and I saw deranged matriarchal germ conspiracists and deranged patriarchal religionists try to dictate to people what to do with their bodies… well, I might start to wonder if an intervention was needed.
If I was Nature, and I watched Humanity invert and subvert our fundamental interdependence and connectivity to the point that we become a threat to each other for simply having an uninjected body or an uncovered face… well, I might start to think that an intervention was needed, sooner rather than later.
If I was Nature, watching us stuck in this cycle of self-inflicted harm, trauma and abuse… well, I might start to wonder just how drastic this forced intervention might need to be.
Maybe this is what Climate Change is really about, and why we find the narrative presented to us so convincing: because we know we are out of line, out of order, out of balance with the guidelines that Nature has given us, and we know what happens when we become so out of balance.
Obviously, I am not Nature, so take what I say with the necessary qualification. But the more time I spend in Nature, the more time I consciously try to see the world through its eyes, the more clear it becomes that we are in need of this intervention.
The good news? The end of a cycle brings a unique opportunity for reorganisation and renewal — a reset — for those who are ready for this change to guide us back in line with the laws of Nature that are provided to us, for our own benefit.
Are you ready?
